The Highlands Wrestling Club (HWC) is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization that was started in 2017 for charitable, scientific and educational purposes of fostering national and international amateur athletic competition with an emphasis on wrestling. The HWC’s goals are to engage the youth and parents of the Ft. Thomas community in the sport of wrestling while providing opportunities for individual and team growth, character development, body awareness and lifelong friendships. The HWC offers both youth and middle school age teams. The youth HWC team starts at age 5  and allow beginner wrestlers who don't turn age 15 by August 1st. The middle school HWC team allows wrestlers to compete from grades 4-8 and is designed for wrestlers with some experience or feel they are ready for more aggressive competition. Both the Youth and Middle School HWC teams are CO-ED with the goal of offering all wresters the opportunity to compete and mature for the betterment of their person.
